Case Study - The Signatry

Background

The Signatry's goal as a company is to impact the globe for Christ through giving. Users may set up donor advised funds, or choose to give through non cash assets. After raising money, missionaries are sent out  to spread the gospel in unreached areas. A current employee of The Signatry asked me to evaluate the current site and make suggestions for improvement based on my observations.

Research

  • evaluated the functionality and design of elements on the site
  • went to each page of the site to truly understand the business objectives of the company
  • as a first time user, noted areas with lacking content and ineffective design, including readability and accessibility

Results

After analyzing The Signatry's website, I also recommended that they change the first phrase visible on their website from "Disrupting the giving industry" to "Revolutionary Generosity," since "revolutionary" is a keyword across the website. They took my suggestion, knowing that this would help with SEO as well. In addition, they redesigned the How it Works section based on my analysis.
